Kartik Aaryan
Professional actor Kartik Aaryan is based in Mumbai, India’s financial hub. 2011 saw him make his acting debut in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, a love story by Luv Ranjan. The five-minute monologue of his character Rajat was regarded as the longest single shot ever produced for a Hindi movie. Later, in 2013, he made an appearance in the movie Akaash Vani. In the 2014 movie Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, Aaryan played the village chief. In the critically acclaimed 2015 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, he gave an even longer monologue than in the film’s first instalment. This dialogue is now regarded as the actor’s longest single-shot speech in Hindi film history. He will work with Luv Ranjan once more on an untitled project in 2017. His upcoming movie, Atithi In London, is scheduled to come out in 2017. Achievements include being nominated for the Apsara Award for Best Male Debut in 2011 and winning the Stardust Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Role in 2015 for Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
